LOVE INCLUDES always thinking about how to make your partner’s life better. You strive to put yourself in the other person’s shoes and imagine what he or she is going through. Then ask yourself: “What would I like done to me if I were in this situation?” 

If you had worked the whole day at home while taking care of not-so-quiet kids, what would you like your partner to do? How about a little hand with the heavy work? Or give her a break with light ones?

And what if you had come home late night feeling physically and mentally exhausted, what kind of welcome would you like to receive?

Think about how to make your partner’s life better and take the initiative to do it. This is worth more than flowers and exotic walks.
