Confessions of the weak

It is useless for the weak to act like a parrot and repeat the Word: “Let the weak say, “I am strong.”(Joel 3.10), when he has not been born again.

The weak will only be strong after he is born of the Strong, the Almighty.

In the meantime, he can confess whatever he wants, but nothing will happen.

Jesus told a ruler of the Jews:

Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3.3

He added:

…unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3.5

What was the use of Nicodemus having an extensive knowledge of the Law and the Prophets when he had not been born again?

Knowledge of the Word of God without practice is not enough. But to practice it, he needed to be born of the Spirit.

God “made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.” 2 Corinthians 3.6

Therefore, stop repeating biblical verses that are not lived, practiced and absent of Spirit.

Repeating biblical verses serves only as a point of support for religiosity.

Without being born of water and the Holy Spirit, there is no chance of your faith surviving in this world. And if you do not overcome the sin of the world, how can you save your soul?

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world – our faith. I John 5.4

If you find this to be radical, look at the incredible number of unbelieving and disturbed Christians around you.

They are fruit of the work of “pastors” who were born of the flesh. They are more concerned with the number of members and their offerings than with the salvation of their souls. This is why these “pastors” preach that all you have to do is accept Jesus as Savior and you will be saved.

Accepting Jesus or believing in Him makes no difference when one does not obey the Word of Jesus.

But how to obey the Word without being spirit?

And how to be spirit without being born of the Holy Spirit?

Jesus said:

That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. John 3.6

And added:

Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ John 3.7
