TIME IS WHAT STANDS BETWEEN YOU AND AN EMPTY HOUSE

THERE ARE CERTAIN LAWS OF NATURE THAT CAN NEVER BE BROKEN. ONE OF THESE LAWS IS THE LAW OF TIME. TIME CAN’T BE STOPPED, BROUGHT BACK, OR EVEN FAST-FORWARDED. IT’S A SHAME MOST PEOPLE DON’T UNDERSTAND THAT THIS RULE IS VERY MUCH APPLICABLE TO LOVE.

We grow up hearing people telling us all the time that we need to do certain things before thinking about love. “Get a degree, establish your career, save some money, travel the world, etc.”

These are just a few things we are told before we consider settling down with the person that will help to anchor us home.

The problem with this is that some people wake up one day having travelled the world, established a career, and with money in the bank, but with no one to enjoy these accomplishments with.

Of course our parents and family members will always be there, but most people would like to have some one to enjoy achieving these goals in life with.

Some people find themselves living comfortable lives, but completely alone. When they wake up to this reality, they start to panic. And everyone knows that when people panic, they make mistakes.

They jump into relationships, fear that it’s getting too late to have children, and it’s only a matter of time before disappointments happen as a result of rushing to establish a relationship.

Before you say: “ Hold on a second, I am on my own and I have always prioritised my love life!”

We know that the above may not be everyone’s situation, but we are talking about something that is becoming increasingly common in today’s society.

There is such a thing as taking a healthy interest in love from a relatively young age.

Thinking about the standards of the person you want to be with, socialising in the right places, and being open to start a relationship when the potential right person comes along, does not have to necessarily interrupt your career or stop you from getting a degree.

Time is a precious gift, and it’s your duty to make the most of it by prioritising your love life.

If you don’t have the time to invest in love now, there will always be time to wonder what could have been.

You can always do that in your brand new house, or in your office in the city overlooking the beautiful city you live in, albeit by yourself. (Sarcastic remark)
