We often encounter situations that seem impossible to resolve. Hopelessness takes over, and no matter how hard we try, we cannot see a way out. In these moments, when faced with challenges that are apparently stronger than ourselves, what should we do?
When nothing seems to work out, our best—and often only—option is to turn to faith and focus our eyes on the Word of God, which provides countless examples of how the Almighty made the impossible become possible. The book of Joshua (6:20) recounts a pivotal moment in the history of the people of Israel. At that time, their main objective was to conquer Jericho, but an immense and fortified wall stood between them and their goal, appearing indestructible to the physical eye.
However, driven by faith and obedience to the Word of God, they encircled Jericho for seven days, and on the last round, at the sound of the trumpets, the walls that seemed insurmountable fell before them.
Perhaps you are facing “walls” in your family or other areas of your life—seemingly hopeless situations that have robbed you of your peace. The good news is that the same God who brought down the walls of Jericho is alive and willing to do the same in your life.
For the next 13 Fridays, at the Universal Church, we will put our faith into action and determine victory over obstacles that may be preventing you from living a fulfilled life. As you attend these weekly meetings, you are encouraged to bring a rose with you. It will be blessed, symbolising the presence of the Lord Jesus entering your home to eliminate all negativity. Join us at your nearest Universal Church.
