Baptism with Fire

Soon after being baptized in water and sealed with the Holy Spirit, He led Jesus to the wilderness. There, He was baptized with fire.

Every Christian must always keep in mind that, in general, all the events that happened in our Master’s life will also occur in the life of His disciple. And you cannot run from this. After all, those who follow in His footsteps are prone to tread on the same rocks and thorns… However, they no longer have as much power to cause pain.

Those who were recently sealed with the Spirit of God, should not be surprised by the baptism of fire that takes place right after, or that you may even be enduring right now. Remain joyful within because this is a sign that you are loved.

Meditate on this word:

Beloved,do not think it strange concerning the fiery trialwhich is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you.1 Peter 4.12-14

Excuse me, but right now a great joy floods my being.
