Life is meant to blossom and grow. It is not supposed to be stagnant and it is certainly not meant to regress. Even when we face struggles and difficulties, at some point, we should overcome them because nothing lasts forever.
However, maybe your life feels as though you have been in the midst of a wilderness that is lasting forever. All you have known is an ongoing cycle of problems, where you have failed to see even one patch of grass – one symbol of hope or victory on the horizon. Or there is one problem that has been persistently causing you stress, and what you need is for your wilderness to become a blossoming garden.
This is what we will determine will happen on Friday, 16 July, when you bring a rose with you to be anointed with the oil of joy.
“The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, and the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, even with joy and singing.” (Isaiah 35:1-2)
We believe that God can take your life or situation that has been barren and turn it into a garden that will blossom like a rose. Believe that when you place your rose in your home, the joy of the Lord will enter your life and your family, and you will see an end to the problems that have persisted for so long.
Join us in this chain of prayer, as we will anoint your rose for seven weeks.
Please come wearing a face covering and follow all social distancing guidelines.
