How many hours have you spent scrolling endlessly through social media, watching countless videos or bingeing on Netflix series? It’s easy to lose track of time when we’re surrounded by distractions, but what if we could use that time for something truly transformative?
The Fast of Daniel is a 21-day period dedicated to setting aside secular distractions and focusing on the presence of God. This purpose is about disconnecting from the noise of daily life—social media, news, entertainment, and secular information—to make room to hear the voice of God.
During this time, you engage in activities that edify your soul, such as:
- Reading the Bible and other spiritual books (resources available at Christianbooks-plus.com)
- Spending time in prayer
- Participating in church services
- Watching spiritual content on Univervideo.com
For this reason, on Wednesday, 11th December, we will begin the Fast of Daniel and end on Tuesday, 31st December. During this time, you will prepare yourself to enter the new year spiritually stronger with your head held high. This is an invitation to detox your mind and focus on the things of God. Whether you’re new to the church and just beginning your journey of faith, seeking a closer relationship with God, or longing for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, we welcome you to join us.
When we trade the influences of this world for the Word of God, the result is life-changing.
We encourage you to Invite Him into your life today. It’s only when we truly desire and seek God above all else that we will encounter Him.
“You will seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart.” – Jeremiah 29:13
This fast is not about deprivation; it’s about transformation. By the end of the 21 days, you may find yourself more in tune with God’s voice and better equipped to face the year ahead with faith and purpose.
Mark your calendar for 11th December, together, let’s disconnect from the distractions of the world and reconnect with the One who matters most.
Are you ready to hear His voice?
