Humanity’s greatest concern is with their future. Worries about this subject have driven man to seek ways to find out what will happen. This is why we have the weather forecast, astrology, estimation studies… However, the truth is that we can all have a clear sense of how our life will be, not only in 10, 20 or 30 years but for all of eternity.
Jesus said the Kingdom of God is within each person (Luke 17.21). Therefore, we can conclude that the kingdom of the devil is as well. And, if both kingdoms are within a person, no one else can see them or know which one he possesses, other than the person himself. So, no one besides the person knows what awaits them in eternity.
This means that what is inside you is a small sample of what you will live forever, even after you leave this world. Just like the Kingdom of God is a sample of the Kingdom of Heaven, the kingdom of the devil is a sample of the kingdom of hell.
Therefore, when there is righteousness, peace, and joy inside you, as described in Romans 14.17, your eternal life will also be filled with righteousness, peace, and joy. However, when there is wickedness, suffering, and sadness inside you, your eternal life will also be filled with great wickedness, suffering, and sadness.
When you have heaven in life, you will have heaven after death. But if you have hell in life, you will have hell after death. This has nothing to do with what is around you; it has to do with your inner self. Those who are born of God possess paradise in their heart, even when hell is bombarding them with problems. On the other hand, those who are not born of God possess hell within themselves, even if they are living a comfortable life and without any significant concerns.
So, if you want to know where you will spend eternity, just look within yourself. What you live within yourself today, you will live forever in your exterior, unless you change paths before leaving this world.
Don’t be fooled by a title, by religion, by your reputation or by the well-being material possessions may offer you.
Remember: the effects of the sample you possess will multiply extraordinarily in the future, and you do not know if it will arrive today, tomorrow or 10 years from now. Therefore, it is necessary to be prepared, and to fight to have the Kingdom of God within yourself, so that, when the day comes, you may enter into It.
