Man makes plans by using a natural calendar, which passes one day at a time. When, for example, a person schedules an appointment a month from today, they have to wait 30 days to go to their scheduled appointment. Or, when you call to ask for some service and are told that you can only be seen in 3 months, again you are expected to wait the length of the time determined. This is humanity’s calendar; therefore, it is natural.
However, there is God’s calendar, which is not natural, and its days pass at a different rate, like it is written in the Bible:
But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3.8
This explains the sacrificial Faith we live during the Israel Challenge. Those who believe go to the Altar, surrender all their life, emptying themselves. Humanly speaking, this person loses, but after this day he begins to grow in all the areas of his life. We see this in the testimonies, people whose lives were destroyed, now are entirely transformed: spiritual, financial, family, everything! This is why unbelievers say it’s a lie because it is impossible to have such a transformation happen in such a short time, according to the natural calendar.
A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time. Isaiah 60.22
The little one and the small one: Those who surrender their all when they sacrifice on the Altar.
When a person goes to the Altar, he begins to live according to God’s calendar. This way, his days are worth more than a thousand, like the Bible says:
For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand… Psalms 84.10
The Israel Challenge is for this, for a decision!
After all, do you want to continue living according to a natural calendar or do you want to live according to God’s calendar?
